Ricky Ledee is on Twitter!

And now he’s on Obscure Athletes. Thanks to former Major League masher and Worcester Tornado Jose Canseco

Ledee, of course, is famous for reaching base in 8 consecutive plate appearances in the ’98 World Series. He has two rings with those Yankees teams.

Ricky Ledee played ten seasons in the majors, for seven different teams. Amazingly, he never spent any more than two full seasons for any team. He hit .243 for his career, posting his best career average (.278) with the Dodgers in 2005. He has 63 career homers, and once knocked in 77 runs in 2000, a season he split between the Yankees and Indians.

Ledee last played in 2007. Somehow it’s taken him until 2013 to get on Twitter. Follow him, as we do, @ricky_ledee. The greatest Padre-killer of the 90’s!
